With the welcome addition of the Oregon Fire Chiefs Association, bringing an additional 300 members, support for HR7525 continues to grow. With over 50% of all Special Districts nationwide signaling their support, the groundswell for this foundational legislation is unique.

Having passed the House of Representatives and the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee earlier this summer, NSDC hopes to see the legislation intrduced on the Senate floor in soon.
