FY 2025 Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program (GusNIP-NI)
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support projects intended to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables among USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants by providing a financial incentive at the point of purchase. Click here for more information.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support selected communities in development and implementation projects that demonstrate how a comprehensive community approach to serving youth experiencing homelessness can dramatically reduce youth homelessness. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to prevent overdose and reduce the use of opioids, stimulants, and other substances by people involved in the criminal justice system. The program will plan, implement, and enhance the operations of adult treatment courts (ATC) including management and service coordination for treatment court participants, fidelity to the adult treatment court model, and recovery support services. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to enhance collaboration between law enforcement and behavioral health services to improve public safety and health outcomes for people with behavioral health conditions, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and/or traumatic brain injuries who interact with the criminal justice system. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support collaborations to improve public safety responses and outcomes for people with mental health disorders (MHDs) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs).
