FY 2025 Urban Agriculture and Innovation Production (UAIP) Competitive Grants Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the development of urban agriculture and innovative production. This program will fund planning and implementation activities. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? City or township governments, county governments, Native American tribal governments and organizations, nonprofit organizations, independent school districts, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, and special district governments

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $2.5 million

FY 2025 Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program enables and improves distance learning and telemedicine services in rural areas. This program is intended to help rural communities use advanced telecommunications technology to connect to each other and the world, overcoming the effects of remoteness and low population density. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Entities that provide education or health care through telecommunications, including state or local governmental organizations, federally recognized tribes, nonprofit organizations, incorporated for-profit businesses, groups of eligible entities working together, and tribal organizations

FY 2024 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides support to communities for hazard mitigation activities that promote climate adaptation and resilience with respect to the growing hazards associated with climate change. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, territories, and tribal governments. Local governments may apply as a sub-applicant through their state specific process.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $750 million

Department of Homeland Security

FY 2024 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Direct Technical Assistance (DTA)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to enhance the capabilities and capacity of communities, territories, and tribes to design holistic and equitable hazard mitigation solutions that advance community-driven objectives. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments including cities, townships, counties, parishes, boroughs, territorial governments, tribal nations, metropolitan or regional planning organizations, other political subdivisions of state governments, and groups of two or more of these entities

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? Rather than providing monetary awards, this program will provides non-financial technical support

FY 2024 Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to reduce or eliminate the flood risk of repetitive flood damage to structures and buildings insured by the NFIP and to enhance community flood resilience within NFIP-participating communities. Click here for more information.

FY 2025 American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP): Battlefield Land Acquisition Grants (BLAG)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program assists state and local governments with the preservation of eligible Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War battlefield lands through acquisition of fee-simple or less-than-fee (easement) interests. Click here for more information.

FY 2025 Research and Evaluation on Youth Justice Topics

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of the program is to fund rigorous research and evaluation projects that inform policy and practices in four topic areas: 1) Research and Evaluation on Youth Justice System Prosecution; 2) Research and Evaluation on Youth Justice Defense Delivery Systems; 3) Evaluation of Youth Reentry Practices; and 4) Resubmissions of Youth Justice Reinvestment Studies. Click here for more information.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program seeks to fund rigorous, applied evaluative research on: (1) police conduct and police-community interactions; (2) officer safety, health, and wellness; (3) criminal investigations; and (4) alternative traffic enforcement models. Click here for more information.

Department of Justice

FY 2025 Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support a comprehensive approach to addressing abuse in later life, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, neglect, abandonment, economic abuse, or willful harm committed against victims who are 50 years of age or older. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States and territories; units of local government; tribal governments or tribal organizations; population specific organizations; victim service providers; state, tribal, or territorial coalitions; faith-based and community organizations; and any nonprofit entity with a 501(c)(3) status

FY 2025 Pipeline Emergency Response Grant (PERG)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to promote the safe transportation of hazardous materials by equipping emergency responders with the training needed to address pipeline incidents effectively. The program's objective is to empower trained responders to safeguard individuals, property, and the environment from the impacts of pipeline accidents or hazardous material transportation incidents. Click here for more information.
