NSDA prioritzed flexibilty in the OSHA  proposed rules to address heat injury and illness prevention in indoor and outdoor workplaces, requiring employers to create plans to evaluate and control heat hazards. The proposal applies to sectors under OSHA jurisdiction, including general industry, construction, agriculture, and maritime.
